Thursday Blotter: Potty Foul

Man Tries to Have Ex Kidnapped 
A Skokie man reportedly asked a friend to hurt or kidnap his ex-wife for $2,000 on May 28.

Theft at Old Navy

A woman attempted to steal $101.26 worth of clothing from Old Navy, 9400 block of Skokie Blvd., on May 27. The woman was caught by store security with several items that didn't belong to her, the report said. Since the woman had 16 convictions of larceny on her record, she was charged with a felony for this theft, according to the report.

Husband Threatens Wife with Knives

A woman reported that her intoxicated husband began yelling while threatening her with two steak knives in their home in the 8200 block of Niles Center Road on May 25.

Potty Foul
A man reported that his black Samsung Tablet was stolen from a Jewel bathroom on May 26. The man had put the item, as well as his cell phone and computer down. He then left to purchase a lottery ticket, and realized he had left the tablet in the bathroom. When he returned it was missing. An unknown suspect later activated the tablet, according to a GPS tracking system, in the 8100 block of Parkside Avenue, the report said.

Perfume Bandits
A group of women allegedly removed 29 perfume bottles from Ulta beauty supply store, 5400 block of Touhy Ave., on May 26. The women were driving a tan Toyota, which matched the description of a vehicle involved in a similar theft at an Ulta in Chicago, the report said.
