Thursday Blotter: Reindeer Games

Hanging purse
A woman reported her wallet stolen after dinning at Panera Bread, 9611 Skokie Blvd., on Dec. 7. According to the report, the woman left her purse hanging on the back of a chair. She would soon find out that a fraudulent charge at a nearby Target was made with her card.
Stolen reindeer

A woman reported that someone stole her two metal reindeer from outside her home in the 8300 block of Trumbull Avenue on Dec. 7.
Stolen garbage cans

A homeowner in the 5200 block of Acadia Avenue reported her village garbage cans stolen on Dec. 8.
BB gun damage
A woman reported that an unknown person(s) shot a BB pellet at her window in the 8000 block of Kenton Avenue on Dec. 9.
Jewelry stolen in home burglary
Several pieces of gold jewelry and cash were reported stolen from a home in the 3800 block of Birchwood on Dec. 9.
Stolen angel
Police were dispatched to the 8400 block of Gross Point Road regarding a theft on Dec. 9. According to the report, a white snow angel made of wood was stolen. The angel stood about 5-feet high, and was valued at around $50, the report stated.
