Thursday Blotter: Slashed Tires, DUI

Stolen cell phone

A woman reported her cell phone stolen while working out at a gym in the 5700 block of Oakton Street on Oct. 4.

Stolen bike

A high-end road bike was reported stolen from a condo common area in the 9700 block of Woods Drive on Sept. 25. The bike was valued at more than $800.

Slashed tires

A car parked in the 5000 block of Elm Street had its tires slashed on Sept. 24.

DUI

Jaimie Nett, 48, of Skokie, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on Oct. 8. Nett was stopped in the 8100 block of McCormick Boulevard for speeding, the report stated. She had a blood alcohol content level of .177, the report said. Her court date is Nov. 26.
