Thursday Blotter: Stolen iPad

The following arrest information was supplied by the Skokie Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction. At Skokie Patch, we update our blotter daily.

iPad stolen from bathroom

A woman reported her Apple iPad 3 stolen after using a restroom at Panera Bread, 9611 Skokie Blvd., on March 3. The woman told police that she entered the restroom and placed her purse on the outside of the stall. When she exited the stall, she realized her iPad missing.

Criminal trespass
Police responded to a criminal trespass complaint at Turning Point Behavioral Clinic, 8324 Skokie Blvd., on March 3. A man who was banned from the property entered the premise. He was escorted out by police and refereed to a Skokie police social worker.

DUI
Timothy Reed, 26, of Evanston, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on Feb. 24. Reed was also issued citations for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, police said. Why Reed was stopped or where he was stopped was not indicated by police.

Criminal damage
A homeowner reported that an unknown person cut the exterior lock from his utility box in the rear of his townhouse in the 9000 block of Skokie Boulevard on March 3.
