Fraud

A woman tried purchasing a 2011 Dodge Challenger using someone else’s credit information on June 30.

“420”

Police observed the number “420” written with red and black spray paint in the 4900 block of Greenwood Avenue on June 30.
Stolen auto

A moving truck was stolen outside Holiday Inn, 5300 Touhy Ave., on June 30. The truck was valued at around $25,000.

Stolen items

A woman reported her cell phone, purse and several dollars in cash missing after dining at Rama’s Diner, 3358 Main St., on June 30.

Criminal damage

Police responded to a criminal damage complaint in the 8400 block of Kedvale Avenue on June 30. According to the report, a resident’s friend allegedly broke two glass mirrors inside his home. The estimated damage was placed at around $100.

Lock your doors

Police responded to a burglary in the 9000 block of Lamon Avenue on June 30. According to the report, several electronics with a combined value of about $1,500 were reported stolen. The victim told police that she believes her children left her front door unlocked.
