Tuesday Blotter: Delivery Boy Reports Stolen Auto

Graffiti

Police responded to a criminal damage complaint at the Skokie Swift Station, 5005 Dempster St., on Jan. 7. According to the report, red spray paint was used to write several illegible words.

Stolen GPS

A GPS device was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 4900 block of Church Street on Jan. 8.

Stolen shades

Two pair of sunglasses with a combined value of $250 were reported stolen from a car parked in the 5000 block of Suffield Court on Jan. 8.

Stolen auto

A 2006 Cadillac STS was reported stolen from the 4800 block of Washington Street on Dec. 23.

Battery

Four males in the 4800 block of Hull Street attacked a man on Jan. 8. According to the report, the victim was walking to his house after parking his car, but was suddenly struck from behind. The suspects would later flee the scene. No arrests were made and the victim denied medical attention.

Pizza delivery boy reports stolen auto

A pizza delivery boy reported his car stolen after delivering a pizza in the 5200 block of Oakton Street on Dec. 12. According to the report, the employee left his car running while delivering a pizza. When he returned, he saw that his vehicle was gone.
