Tuesday Blotter: Grab-n-Go at Bloomingdales

Deceptive practice

A man received a call from Walmart asking him to authorize a transaction he never made on Feb. 10. The man told police he doesn’t know how the suspect(s) got his information, the report said.

Theft from locker

Police responded to Life Time Fitness on Feb 10 regarding a locker theft. According to the report, an unknown person(s) cut the victim’s lock and removed a duffle bag containing gym clothing.

Another theft was reported the same say at Life Time Fitness. However, the victim reported no missing items, the report said.

Grab and go at Bloomies

Police responded to a theft at Bloomingdales in Old Orchard Mall on March 23. According to the report, a male teen grabbed several pairs of jeans with a combined value of $1,080 and fled the store. He would later make his escape via bicycle.

Phony reservations

Police responded to a complaint at McCormick & Schmick’s in Old Orchard Mall on March 24. According to the report, the manager believes a former employee has been making online reservations using lewd names.
