Tuesday Blotter: Grocery Line Dispute

Garage burglary

A bike was reported stolen from a garage in the 8500 block of Keystone Avenue on June 25. The bike was valued at around $130, the report said.

Theft from auto

A car parked in the 4800 block of Enfield Avenue was reported burglarized on June 24. According to the report, no items were missing from the vehicle.

Internal theft

A woman was fired from Akira in Old Orchard Mall after her manager discovered she was allegedly stealing from the store on June 21. According to the report, the alleged suspect confessed to stealing the items. No charges were filed, but she was released from the store and told not to come back, the report said.

Lost wallet

A man reported his wallet missing after shopping at Best Buy, 5425 Touhy Ave., on June 25.

Grocery dispute

Two men got in a physical altercation after one accused the other of cutting the line to pay for their items at Aldi, 4833 Oakton St., on June 25. No charges were filed.
