Tuesday Blotter: Internal Theft at Nordstrom

Stolen wallet
A woman dinning at Corner Bakery in Skokie reported her wallet stolen on Jan. 29. According to the report, the woman told police that her credit card was used at a nearby Target without her knowledge.
Alleged employee theft at Nordstrom

Saif Ahsanullah, 28, of the 8100 block of Keating Avenue, was charged with retail theft on Jan. 30. Ahsanullah is an employee at Nordstrom in Old Orchard Mall and was allegedly caught via video stealing $300 from his register on three separate occasions. His court date is Feb. 28.
Burglar steals flip-flops

A car parked outside California Pizza Kitchen in Old Orchard Mall was reported burglarized on Jan. 31. According to the report, a pry tool was used to gain entry inside the vehicle. Among the items report missing were a pair of flip-flops, pants, boots and new clothing valued at $130.
Egging
Two vehicles parked in the 8100 block of Niles Centre were reported vandalized on Jan. 28. According to the report, two teens threw about two-dozen eggs at the cars and fled.
