Tuesday Blotter: Internal Theft, DUI

Employee theft
Julia Izebella Janowicz, 32, of Evanton, was charged with retial theft on Feb. 8. Janowicz was caught stealing several BCBG dresses from Lord and Taylor in Old Orchard Mall. The combined value of said items was $612, the report stated.
Vehicle vandalism

A car parked in the 7400 block of Keystone Avenue was vandalized on Feb. 10. According to the report, the rear windshield was damaged and the back license plate was missing.
DUI

Eliseo Ramos Hernandez, 20, of Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, disobeying a red light and illegal transportation of alcohol, among other things, on Feb. 10 around 2 a.m.
Hernandez was stopped near the 7200 block of the Edens Expressway for speeding, the report stated. He was going 65 in a 35 mph zone.
The suspect had a blood alcohol content level of .142, police said. His court date is Feb. 25.
