Tuesday Blotter: 'One Shot' DUI

'One Shot' DUI

Reymark De Guzman, 23, of the 8800 block of Sayre Avenue in Morton Grove, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on Dec. 3. According to the report, De Guzman was stopped in the 7700 block of Lincoln Avenue after officers saw him cut off another vehicle. De Guzman allegedly told police he only took “one shot” of liquor, even though he had a blood alcohol content level of .145, the report said. His court date is Jan. 6

Threatening text messages

A woman told police she received more than 100 threatening text messages from a former coworker on Dec. 2. According to the report, the alleged suspect sent messages that say the person is going to stab the victim in the back and brutally attack her.

Police responded to a criminal damage complaint in the 4900 block of Oakton Street on Dec. 3. According tot he report, red spray paint was used to write several illegible letters on the west side of a garage
