Tuesday Blotter: Sherwin Avenue Burglaries

Sherwin Avenue hit with vehicle burglaries

A GPS device valued at around $130 was reported stolen from a car parked in the 4900 block of Sherwin Avenue on Nov. 8.

An iPod valued at $300 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 4900 block of Sherwin Avenue on Nov. 8.

A car parked in the 4900 block of Sherwin Avenue was ransacked on Nov. 8. No items were reported missing, however.

Another car in the 4900 block of Sherwin Avenue was burglarized on Nov. 8. However, while the vehicle was ransacked, no items were reported missing.

Three other vehicles parked in the 4900 block of Sherwin Avenue were reported burglarized on Nov. 8. Of those three, only one had an item missing; a $75 Banana Republic jacket, the reports said.

Stolen iPhone

A man reported that his iPhone and Harry Potter case were reported stolen after shopping at Bed, Bath and Beyond in Village Crossing on Nov. 4.

Theft from auto

A car parked in the 5200 block of Mulford Avenue was reported burglarized on Nov. 6. According to the report, a Toshiba laptop was taken from the vehicle.
