Guest party leads to theft

A necklace with the word “Luck” written in Hebrew was stolen during a family party in the 5000 block of Mulford Avenue on Sept. 24. According to the report, the victim does not suspect anyone in particular. The necklace was valued at around $1,400.

About $70 in gas was stolen from , 4002 Dempster St., on Oct. 3. The clerk told police that the vehicle’s plates were covered.

Stolen bikes

Police responded to a burglary in the 9000 block of Ewing Avenue on Oct. 4. According to the report, the suspect(s) gained entry inside a garage and looted two bicycles with a combined value of $400.

Theft from motor vehicle

A car parked outside the was burglarized on Oct. 4. According to the report, the right passenger window of a 2011 Cadillac was smashed to gain entry. Once inside, the suspect took a laptop valued at $1,000.
