Tuesday Blotter: Stolen Autos

Stolen copper
An unknown amount of copper was stolen from a home in the 5300 block of Pratt Avenue on Feb. 7. According to police, the home was a foreclosed property.
Stolen diaper bag

An unknown offender(s) used a brick to break the passenger side window of a vehicle parked in the 8800 block of Central Park Avenue on Jan. 30. Missing from the vehicle was a diaper bag and $10, police said.
Temp plates stolen from dealership

Several temporary license plates were reported stolen from Sherman Dodge, 7601 Skokie Blvd., on Feb. 6.
Two vehicle reported stolen in two days
A man reported his Acura sedan stolen on Feb. 5. According to police, the vehicle was parked in a parking lot in the 7900 block of Lincoln Avenue.

A man reported his car stolen from outside his home in the 4800 block of Carol Avenue on Feb. 7.
Vehicle vandalism
A man reported that an unknown person(s) used a sharp object to scratch his car on Feb. 6. The vehicle was parked in the 9600 block of Gross Point Road, police said.
Cash stolen from tip jar
Police responded to a theft at Sweety Pies, 8042 Lincoln Ave., on Feb. 7. According to police, a person walked into the store and removed $5 from a tip jar left at the front counter. No arrests were made.
Stolen baby formula
Police responded to a theft at Walgreens, 3945 Dempster St., on Feb. 7. According to police, a customer came into the store and stole an unknown amount of baby formula. No arrests were made.
Underage drinking
Two teens were charged with illegal transportation of open alcohol, underage consumption of alcohol on Feb. 6. One of the juveniles was also charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.
