Stone fountain stolen
A man came into the Skokie police station to report that his stone fountain was stolen from his backyard on Aug. 29. He also said 16 solar pathways, valued at $3 each, were also taken.

A man who held a real estate sales event reported more than $200 of sterling silver was missing from his home on Aug. 21. According to the report, the victim suspects a man who asked about the items.

Police responded to the 8800 Monticello Avenue regarding a criminal damage compliant on Aug. 22.
DUI
Osvaldo A. Robles, 27, of the 4500 block of Bernard Avenue in Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on Aug. 25. Robles's vehicle was stopped in the 7900 block of Lincoln Avenue for a traffic violation around 2 a.m. Police reported that his blood alcohol content level was .19.
Teen attacked for skateboard
Police were dispatched to the 7800 block of Park Avenue regarding a battery on Aug. 28. According to the report, a 14-year-old boy was hit “25-30 times” for his skateboard after leaving the Backlot Bash. Several of his friends broke up the fight and no visible injuries were seen on the victim.
