VIDEO: Massive Tree Parks Atop Car

Storm damage in front of home greets couple first thing in the morning.

Ursula Jozwik woke up this morning and saw what the insurance companies call an "act of God."

When Jozwik looked out the window of her home, she saw a massive tree on top of her 1992 Ford Escort in front of her home on the 6800 block of Tripp Avenue.

Her husband, Andy, said he has been battling city hall over the tree in front of his house for more than five years.

"We asked the city to cut the tree and they said, 'No, no, no,' " Andy Jozwik said. "[And] three years ago, a big branch fall down and we telephone the [Lincolnwood] mayor and tell him the tree is dying, they still didn't do anything."

Now, the family's car is totaled.

Though the family was in good spirits, Andy Jozwik was a little sad for his son.

"My son wanted this car. He was getting ready to get his permit," he said. "He didn't even get to drive it."
