Tuesday Blotter: $1K Theft From Bloomingdales

Theft from auto
A car parked in Salem Lane was reported burglarized on Nov. 14. About $20 in loose change was missing from the vehicle, the report stated.
Attempted burglary

Police responded to a burglary in the 6900 block of Lorel Avenue on Nov. 14. According to the report, the culprit(s) tried using brute force to gain entry but failed. No items were reported missing.
Vehicle vandalism

A car parked in the 9500 block of Kostner Avenue was heavily damaged on Nov. 15. According to the report, the lights and windows were all smashed out.
Un-club like
A woman reported receiving a bill for $187 from Sam’s Club even though she said she never purchased the items, the report said.
Stolen gym gear
A pair of gloves and workout supplements were reported stolen from a locker at LA Fitness, 3320 Touhy Ave., on Nov. 14.
Bloomingdale’s theft
More than $1,000 worth of clothing was reported stolen from Bloomingdale’s in Old Orchard Mall on Nov. 16.
