BluRay movies shoplifted
Dariusz Nmi Palaaszynski, 49, of the 5700 block of Ainsle Avenue in Chicago, was charged with retail theft about 2 p.m. Dec. 1. According to the report, Palaaszynski concealed two BluRay disc movies while shopping at Best Buy and left the store without paying for the items. Police were notified and caught up to him near Skokie Hospital.

A man told Skokie police that three bicycles, a skateboard and a basketball were all missing from his garage in the 5200 block of Madison Avenue on Dec. 6.
Theft from dealership

A spare tire was removed from a pickup truck on Dec. 3. According to the report, the vehicle was part of Sherman Dodge's inventory.
Missing wedding ring
A woman came into the Skokie police station on Dec. 5 to report that her 18k wedding ring was missing. She told police that she suspected two maids who came to clean her house and were in the room where the ring was stored. Police are investigating the matter.
Graffiti damage
On Dec. 5 around 5 p.m., police responded a criminal damage call in the 8000 block of Kilpatrick Avenue. According to the report, pink spray paint was used to write "DP" and "CRAZY" on a building.
