Wednesday Blotter: Burglary, DUI & an Egging

Residential burglary

Police responded to a residential burglary in the 8900 block of Samoset Drive on June 3. According to the report, a leather purse, shirt and about $120 in cash were stolen from the home.

Stolen bike

A woman reported her bike stolen as it briefly sat unattended in the 9300 block of Forestview Road on June 2. The bike was valued at around $100.

Graffiti

Police discovered some fresh graffiti while on a routine check at Lee Wright Park on June 4.

Stolen bicycle

A bike valued at around $400 was reported stolen from the 9400 block of Lawndale Avenue on June 2.

DUI

Jong Tak Lee, 23, of the 1300 block of Logsdon Avenue in Buffalo Grove, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on June 3. According to the report, Lee was stopped in the 4800 block of Dempster Street for a traffic violation. He allegedly had a blood alcohol content level of .106.

Agata Goclowski, 43, of the 8900 block of Parkside Road in Des Plaines, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on June 2. Goclowski was stopped by police following a fender bender at a 7-Eleven parking lot in the 7300 block of Niles Center Road. Goclowski allegedly had a blood alcohol content level of .122.

Egging

A car parked in the 5300 block of Suffield Terrace was egged on June 2.
