Wednesday Blotter: Busted with Mary Jane

Theft from auto
A car parked outside Life Time Fitness, 5330 Old Orchard Road, was reported burglarized on Dec. 21. According to the report, a Coach brand purse was taken from the vehicle.
Residential burglary

A home in the 1000 block of Beverly Drive was burglarized on Dec. 21. According to the report, two cameras and several lenses with a combined value of $1,300 were stolen from the apartment. The report said brute force was used to gain entry.

Police charged a 26-year-old Winnetka man for possession of cannabis on Dec. 21 around 12 a.m. According to the report, the suspect was stopped for a traffic violation in the 9200 block of Crawford Avenue. The driver would later tell police he had marijuana inside the vehicle and was shortly arrested.
Theft at Old Navy
Terri Blaylock, 27, of the 4100 block of 16th Street in Wisconsin, and Artlisha Gordon, 26, and also from Wisconsin, were charged for retail theft on Dec. 17. Police responded to a retail theft that just occurred at Old Navy in the 9400 block of Skokie Boulevard. The suspects allegedly had more than $400 of stolen clothing in their possession, according to the report.
