An unknown person used a blunt object to shatter the glass outside Disc Replay in Village Crossing on Aug. 25.
Theft from Oakton Pool

A laptop computer, two 200-pound safes and $3,679 were reported stolen from the Oakton Aquatic Center, 4655 Oakton St., on Aug. 25.
Stolen stove

A stove valued at around $4,00 was reported stolen from a vacant business in the 7700 block of Park Avenue on Aug. 25.
Grab and go at Jewel
A woman ran out of Jewel with a shopping cart filled with groceries on Aug. 25. No arrests were made.
Stolen motorcycle
A motorcycle valued at around $7,000 was reported stolen from the 4500 block of Howard Street on Aug. 25.
Storage unit burglarized
Police responded to Public Storage, 8220 Skokie Blvd., regarding a theft on Aug. 21. According to the report, an unknown person broke into a unit and removed several electronics and documents.
Vehicle vandalized
Police responded to a criminal damage complaint in the 9400 block of Terminal on Aug. 25. According to the report, a blunt object was used to smash out the rear driver’s side window. No items were reported missing.
