Wednesday Blotter: Hand Bag Heist

Ralph Lauren Burglarized
Several purses valued between $350 and $500 were stolen from Ralph Lauren, 9601 Skokie Blvd., on Nov. 10 between 3:03 p.m. and 3:12 p.m. An employee reported the incident on Nov. 14 after discovering damaged sensor tags stuffed away. A surveillance tape revealed that a male and female had grabbed the purses and exited the store without paying.
Fraudulent T-Mobile Account
A Skokie resident reported on Nov. 14 that an unknown offender used his Discover credit card information to open a fraudulent T-Mobile account on Oct. 6.
Items Stolen From a Subaru
A wallet containing $5, a driver’s license, credit cards and a tin of loose change was removed from a Subaru parked in the 3600 block of Grove Street between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Nov. 14.

Wallet Lifted From Hanging Purse
A Skokie woman’s wallet was taken from her purse hanging on the back of a chair at the Old Orchard Shopping Center on Nov. 14. The woman discovered that $600 worth of fraudulent charges were made at a Walmart in Niles.
