Wednesday Blotter: Man Scuffles with 2 Women

Man Scuffles with Two Women
Authorities found a man in the 4900 block of Warren Street who was bleeding from the lip, allegedly intoxicated and uncooperative on May 28 at 10:40 p.m. When questioned by police the man became aggressive and wouldn’t calm down, the report said.

The man told police that he was allegedly attacked by two women who he claimed “clawed” him and threw him against the windshield of a car, according to the report.

Uncertain Car Theft
An unknown offender entered a 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse parked in the 9400 block of Lockwood Avenue on May 25. Nothing was reported stolen.

Women Witnesses Attempted Burglary
A Skokie woman reported that an unknown offender illegally entered her apartment in the 9200 block of Gross Point Road on May 25 around 3 p.m. The woman had been reading in the southeast den of her residence, while the glass sliding back door was unlocked. She said a young man opened the door and entered, the report said. She caught a glimpse of the alleged offender and gave her description to police. She added that when she spotted the intruder he ran toward a 7-Eleven on near Gross Point Road and Church Street, according to the report.

Front Tire Slashed
The front driver’s side tire of a 1995 black Honda was slashed as it sat parked in the 8200 block of Keating Avenue on May 25. A similar incident occurred in September when the same tire was flattened and a scratch was made on the wall around the tire, the report said.

Window Smashed, GPS Charger Stolen
A car for the Chicago Sprinkler Company parked at House of Rental in the 5100 block of Church Street reported that its vehicle’s passenger side window was smashed on May 25. The victim reported a missing GPS device, the report said.
