Three sheds were vandalized near the Skokie Swift on Nov. 2.

A citizen waived down police shortly after an unknown offender(s) knocked down his Virgin Mary statue and broke his window in the 9000 block of LaCrosse Avenue on Nov. 2. The damage was estimated to be around $530.

A 29-year-old Skokie resident was charged with possession of marijuana on Nov. 4. The man was stopped near the 5200 block of Oakton Street for speeding. He had less than two grams in his possession, the report stated.
Business vandalized
Police responded to a criminal damage complaint at A1 Vacuum Service, 3500 Dempster St., on Nov. 4. According to the report, part of the exterior’s window was shattered.
Stolen iPhone
A woman reported her iPhone stolen after shopping at Bed Bath and Beyond in Village Crossing on Nov. 4.
