Stolen bicycle

A men’s bicycle valued at $100 was stolen from a home in the 7600 block of Kilbourn Avenue on June 24. According to the report, the bicycle was left unattended in the yard.

The words “Lazy Generation” and the number “420” were spray painted on a home’s fence in the 9300 block of Tripp Avenue on June 24. The 420 is generally associated with smoking marijuana.

A smiley face was drawn using purple spray paint on a garage in the 9200 block of Kildare Avenue on June 24.

The words “SMoove 187” and “SROI DOI” were written with a silver marker on a garage door in the 9300 block of Kildare Avenue on June 24.

The word “cocaine” was spray painted on a home’s wooden fence in the 9400 block Tripp Avenue on June 24.

Stolen auto

A car parked in the 7400 block of Linder Avenue was stolen on June 24. According to the report, the vehicle was worth about $4,000, and no signs of broken glass were found.

DUI

Clayton Wong, 23, of the 8400 block of McVicker Avenue in Morton Grove, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on June 25. According to the report, officers spotted Wong’s vehicle parked to the side of the road at the 8700 block of Karlove Avenue.

While Wong refused to provide a breath sample, officers reported the driver failed a field sobriety test. A glass-smoking pipe whose residue police suspected was burnt cannabis was uncovered, according to the report. Wong’s court date is July 19.

Swastika graffiti

A home in the 9300 block of Tripp Avenue had a purple swastika spray painted on a stone paver on June 25.

Burglary

A garage in the 5300 block of Mulford Avenue was burglarized on June 26. According to the report, two bicycles and several power tools, with a combined valued of $2,000, were removed.
