Wednesday Blotter: Tractor Truck Stolen

Tractor truck stolen

A 2007 Peterbuilt tractor truck was reported stolen from the 5500 block of Howard Street on Sept. 23.

An employee at Alber Memi Salon, 4140 Dempster St., told police he would like to press charges against his ex-wife after she came into his business and knocked over a porcelain art piece and 11 hair clips, police said. The total damaged was estimated to be around $243. No arrests were made.

Police responded to a criminal damage complaint in the 4800 block of Elm Street on Sept. 23. According to the report, the letters “TVCL” were written on the side of a building.

Residential burglary

Police responded to a burglary in the 3800 block of Jarvis Avenue on Sept. 22. According to the report, $1,500 in cash, $5,000 in jewelry and a checkbook were missing from the home. Officers believe brute force was used to gain entry.

Theft from auto

A car parked in the 8300 block of Christiana Avenue was reported burglarized on Sept. 21. According to the report, a tire was removed from the vehicle.

Two cars owned by separate people were reported burglarized in the 40 block of Williamsburg Street on Sept. 16.
