Child Sexually Assaulted in Glenview Friday, Police Say

The charges stem from a sexual assault that was reported on Friday, Jan. 24, and took place in Glenview, police said.

Glenview police arrested a 31-year-old Wheeling man Saturday and charged him with sexually assaulting a child, according to police.

The charges stem from a sexual assault that was reported on Friday, Jan. 24, and took place in Glenview, police said.

Moises Lopez-Rivera, 31, of the 700 block of South Dennis Street in Wheeling, was arrested in the 2500 block of East Lake Avenue, according to police. He is charged with predatory criminal sexual assault of child. 

A judge set bail at $250,000 on Sunday, Jan. 26, according to the state's attorney's office. His next court date is set for Feb. 25. 

An arrest is merely an accusation, not evidence of a conviction.
