Woman Struck by CTA Bus

Details are limited, check back soon for an update.

A CTA bus struck a woman just outside the upper entrance of Carson Pirie Scott at Lincolnwood Mall around 12 p.m. today.

At least half a dozen CTA officials were outside the department store taking photographs and interviewing witnesses.

A Carson’s employee who wished to have her name withheld said, “There was a lot of blood” at the scene of the accident. No word yet on the woman’s name or age, but one CTA official said she was transported to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston.
