A Skokie man was charged with falsely impersonating a lawyer in December. Authorities suspected Tahir Malik had been impersonating a lawyer for about five years, handling traffic cases, mortgage foreclosures and other low-level criminal cases.

A server at a Buffalo Wild Wings in Skokie chased three men after they left without paying their bill. Peter Crotty hung onto the offenders’ vehicle for more than six blocks while they punched him and ran a red light.

Police arrested Nikko Relucio, 18, of the 2300 block of West Farwell Avenue; Denorsic Conley, 18, of the 7500 block of North Claremont Avenue;, and Derrick Pitts, 19, of the 7400 block of North Claremont Avenue.
