Campaign Funding: How Much Has Each Party Raised?

The Village of Skokie has one hot race on Election Day tomorrow. We've posted some numbers on how much each party has raised in campaign contributions.

You could call it "David versus Goliath" when comparing campaign contributions with the Caucus Party and Independent candidates that are running for trustee.

According to the Illinois State Board of Election's website, Independent candidate Lisa Lipin has raised approximately $7,214 in campaign contributions. In comparison, Independent candidate Brian Novak has raised $2,392.

Meanwhile, the Caucus Party has $146,687 in funds, according to its quarterly report on the Illinois State Board of Election's website.

It should be noted, however, that all numbers are from Dec. 31, 2012, which are the most recent figures available at this time. Election Day is Tuesday, April 9, 2013.
