The Niles Township Regular Republican Organization (NTRRO) will host 9th Congressional candidate Ron Wallace at their monthly meeting on Tuesday October 25th at 7:30 pm. Wallace is a Republican candidate who will challenge incumbent Democrat candidate Jan Schakowsky (D-9th) in 2012.
According to Niles Township Republican Committeeman Joe Hedrick, "The Republican Party is proud that several individuals of quality have stepped forward to run against Jan Schakowsky in the 9th Congressional District. The new map will make it difficult for her to be successful especially in what we expect will be a Republican year. Wallace and other Republican candidates will provide disenchanted voters with viable alternatives to current Illinois politicians," he said.
