The village of Skokie is using Voorhees Associates to help find a new village manager for the community. The company has sent out notices to potential candidates and is advertising the opening on its website.
Current Village Manager Al Rigoni, the community's longest-serving village manager, announced his retirement earlier this year. He is set to retire at the end of the year. The employment announcement asks candidates to apply for the job by Sept. 2. It says residency is required within a year, and lists the salary at plus or minus $195,000 depending on qualifications.
