New CTA Yellow Line Ready for Passengers

It took more than a decade, but the new Yellow Line stop at Oakton Street and Skokie Boulevard is finally here. A celebration is planned later today, check the story for details.

The New Yellow line stop at Oakton Street and Skokie Boulevard officially opened today. Chicago Transit Authority president Forrest Claypool will be joined by Village of Skokie Mayor George Van Dusen to celebrate the grand opening of the new station at 10 a.m., Monday.
