Skokie Longest-Serving Village Manager Al Rigoni to Retire After 2013

Rigoni, who has served in Skokie for 37 years, will retire in six months.

Al Rigoni, who has served in Skokie for 37 years, 27 of them as village manager, will retire at the end of the year, Skokie Review reported.

Rigoni, who has worked in the village for his entire career and is the longest serving village manager in Skokie history, says he wanted to leave when there was not too much on his plate for the new board or the new manager, the newspaper reported.
