Skokie Residents React to Legalization of Concealed Carry

Skokie residents are taking to Facebook to comment on concealed carry in Illinois.

Illinois became the last state in the country yesterday to legalize concealed carry after the House and Senate voted to override Gov. Pat Quinn's amendatory veto of concealed carry regulations, according to the Chicago Tribune.

“Amen. If I lived in Colorado, NO. Living in Skokie. Yes. I think I would like a little one in my Holster,” Randi Hofmann wrote on Facebook.

“Long overdue,” Ilya Khait wrote on Facebook.

“I have mixed feelings. Not a gun lover but nowadays you need to protect yourself,” Cassandra Doskocz Batista wrote on Facebook.
