Why would anyone want to move to Skokie? Over priced and unsafe neighborhoods, with a local government that wants to violate your Constitutional Rights. BOYCOTT SKOKIE.

I have been fortunate enough to live and work in the Skokie \ Evanston area for the last 17 years. My reasons for choosing Evanston \ Skokie for my home is for its cultural diversity, close proximity to Chicago, Expressways access, CTA \ RTA access, dining options, school system, proximity to the lake and beach, events such as Backlot, and its home values. As far as crime goes, while it is concerning, I have weighed the options of the things I would lose if I moved farther away and decided I still would rather be here than anywhere else in the Chicagoland area... and yes, I choose this area for its very liberal views. While it might be a constitutional right to own a gun, it is also a constitutional right not to own a gun and I love living in an area where most of the people think like me.
