Opera Singer Sells Glenview Home For $1.49 Million

Opera star Samuel Ramey and his wife recently sold their four-bedroom, six-bath home in Glenview for $1.49 million, according to Chicago Magazine.

The "sexpot virtuoso," who has sung with New York's Metropolitan Opera and La Scala in Milan, is moving to Kansas, where he will teach at his alma mater, Wichita State University, Chicago Magazine reports.
Ramey's former 4,700-square-foot home has a 600-square-foot walk-in closet, millwork throughout, heated lower level floors and, of course, a built-in sound system, according to Zillow.
