'The Personal is Political: The Transformative Power of Women's Art' will be on display at Oakton Community College from Oct. 4 through Oct. 26.

The grand opening of Oakton’s annual women’s juried art exhibition, The Personal is Political: The Transformative Power of Women’s Art, which features more than 80 women artists from throughout Illinois and across the country is on Thursday, from 5 - 8 p.m. on Oct. 4.

The event will be held at Koehnline Museum of Art at Oakton Community College's Des Plaines Campus, 1600 E. Golf Road.
