Business Administrator Set to Leave D219

Paul O'Malley has accepted a position at Oswego Community School District 308.

Paul O’ Malley, District 219’s Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, will be leaving the district to accept a position at Oswego Community School District 308. The Oswego Board of Education appointed O’Malley Assistant Superintendent of Business, effective this July.

During his four years at D219, “Paul has served the district well,” said Superintendent Nanciann Gatta. “He has been instrumental in the success of major projects that include construction of the Athletic Training Center at Niles West, the Niles North stadium renovation and planning for the new aquatics center at North. He helped Niles West become one of the first high schools in the country to obtain LEED certification for existing buildings and worked with our athletic directors to put in place our successful intergovernmental sports and recreation agreement with our local park districts.”

“We wish Paul all the best in his new position,” Dr. Gatta said.
