A Relevant Anthropology: Crafting Solutions to Urgent Social Problems

Alaka Wali, a curator at the Field Museum, speaks October 30th on “A Relevant Anthropology: Crafting Solutions to Urgent Social Problems.” Wali will discuss her experiences with using anthropological research to craft strategies for environmental conservation and to promote respect for cultural diversity, both in the Amazon regions of South America and in the Chicago area.
