Dead Folks Do Tell Tales
Anne Grauer, professor of anthropology at Loyola University, speaks on May 15th at the Ethical Humanist Society of Chicago, 7574 North Lincoln Ave. in Skokie at 10:30 a.m. Her topic is “Dead Folks Do Tell Tales.” Grauer will discuss how human skeletal remains can be analyzed to provide insight into disease, trauma, and even human social interaction. She will highlight techniques that assist both in criminal investigations and in archaeological research about past populations.
