Jewish Genealogical Society of Illinois

The Jewish Genealogical Society of Illinois will present its third annual “Kvell and Tell” session  at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, in Temple Beth Israel, 3601 W. Dempster St., Skokie. Attendees will share their genealogical breakthroughs and special family history discoveries with fellow JGSI members.

Also on the agenda will be an “Ask the Experts” panel and brief reports from any members who attended the July 15-18 International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies Conference in Paris. Those interested in presenting their breakthroughs in the “Kvell and Tell” session are asked to email JGSI Vice President-Program Abby Schmelling at abbyschmelling@gmail.com.

The JGSI meeting facilities at Temple Beth Israel will open at 12:30 p.m. to accommodate members/guests who want to use genealogy library materials, get help with genealogy websites on the Internet, or ask genealogical questions before the main program begins.
