Worm Composting with the Urban Worm Girl

Lurie Garden will host a free family workshop, at the Chicago Cultural Center at 78 E. Washington St.

Do worms have eyes, ears or noses? Do they eat pizza and popcorn? Learn the answers to these questions and many more in this hands-on demonstration of worm composting with Urban Worm Girl. If you’d like to build a mini worm bin to take home, there is a $20 materials fee paid to the instructor during the day of the event. Children must be at least 6 years old and accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration is required. Visit www.luriegarden.org to register.
