Former Lincolnwood School District 74 superintendent Mark Klaisner was recently hired by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) as the new assistant superintendent for Kane County, according to the Kane County Regional Office of Education's website. Klaisner's new role is the highest position an educator can be hired for, as the superintendent for the ISBE is an elected position.
