Niles North Students Designs On Display At Old Orchard

New Trier High School students created two dresses to help raise awareness for the Glass Slipper Project, which funds prom dresses for girls who otherwise couldn't afford them.

Students in the New Trier Fashion Club are getting their fifteen minutes of fame with two dresses made out of recycled materials. Now on display at the Westfield Old Orchard Mall, the dresses were created as part of a promotion to raise awareness for the Glass Slipper Project, a charity that provides prom gowns to girls that can't afford to purchase a dress.

Dresses designed by students from Niles North and Niles West are also on display. Patrons can vote on the winning design on Old Orchard's Facebook page
