On June 14'th 2012, join our second annual small business and employment event. Dozens of vendors 5,000 business networkers, and prominent speakers will be participating.
When I initially started getting involved in the business world, and started marketing services for our family firm, I really didn’t know much about networking. Many friends suggested that I join the local Chamber of Commerce and start building some local business connections.
I frequently joke that the older generation thinks of networking as telephone wiring, while many in the younger generation only associate the term with Facebook, Twitter, and their MySpace profiles. According to Webster's dictionary, networking is: the exchange of information or services among individuals, groups, or institutions; specifically : the cultivation of productive relationships for employment or business.
Through a series of adventures in business and our local community, “The Business Event” was formed.

The event takes place at Lincolnwood Town Center – 3333 W. Touhy Ave. Lincolnwood, IL. There is no charge to attend this FREE event.
