The Bottom Line: Jake Newlander scored 17 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter to help the Tigers seal the victory with a 37 point final period. He played the entire final period with four fouls, was a perfect nine for nine from the free throw line and drained a pair of three-point shots. Halivni scored six of his eight points in the fourth quarter. After the two teams were tied at 33 at halftime, CJHS took a one-point edge, 51-50, by the end of the third quarter. The Tigers are now 17-2 for the season and the top seeded team in the Arlington Heights Regional when play opens Tuesday.
