This year’s Skokie Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Outing and Fundraiser will be held at Evanston Golf Club in Skokie, a private country club exclusive to members only. Since Evanston Golf Club was founded in the spring of 1898, it has served its members and their families as one of the premier locations on Chicago's North Shore, allowing them to enjoy a variety of sporting and social activities. The club offers wonderful experiences in golf, tennis, swimming and dining while also hosting many special occasions and holiday celebrations throughout the year.
This year the Chamber will host this very exciting and successful event on Monday, September 10, 2012. The Evanston Golf Club venue will really motivate golfers, as well as offer a tennis and swimming package for non-golfers. Committee members have developed a fun-filled activity roster to go along with golfing, tennis and swimming with beer and wine included. They have stirred up some creative and fun fundraising ideas. From marshmallow holes, to margarita machines, tasting samples from restaurant sponsors to passports, the event will offer much more!
If you’ve always wanted to golf at this exclusive club, then now is your chance to sign up through the Skokie Chamber to golf or get a foursome together and tackle 18 holes of tournament golf with a scramble format. Even if you don’t golf, there is something for everyone.
