Vikings Winter Youth Baseball Camps

District 219 is holding several sports camps this winter to help young athletes learn new skills, stay fit, and be competitive. There are D219 youth sports camps for water polo, softball, baseball and football, open to students who attend elementary schools and junior highs in Niles Township, and held at Niles North High School, Niles West High School and the Skokie Park District’s Weber Center Gymnasium. The Vikings 2012 Winter Youth Hitting, Infield and Pitching Camps are for athletes 10 to 14 years of age. Camps are designed to instill the fundamental skills necessary to become a successful hitter, infielder, and pitcher. Each camp consists of three 1-hour sessions held on three consecutive Sundays. Session 1 will be held on January 22, 29 and February 5. Session 2 will be held on February 12, 19 and 26. Camps will be held at Niles North High School, 9800 Lawler, Skokie.
