Niles West Wolves Prevail In Homecoming Game Vs. Glenbrook North

Fans decked out in red and white are not disappointed.


Niles West pleased fans at its Homecoming game Friday with a 31-23 win over Glenbrook North.

The score stood at a nail-biting one point lead in the Wolves' favor, 24-23, late in the third quarter when wide receiver Quran Spillman turned a kickoff into a long, fast run from the seven-yard line to make a touchdown and earn a six-point cushion for Niles West.

Wide receiver Andrew Mihulet also had a running touchdown and a receiving touchdown and a key interception in the fourth quarter, according to High School Cube.

The Wolves are undefeated after four games, and next play the Evanston Township High School Wildkits on Sat., Sept. 28.
